Influenced by a wide range of genres from psychedelic and prog rock/metal to folk and classical, Mariana Ponte’s music is at times calm and atmospheric, and at times energetic and chaotic. Her lyrics explore an array of themes such as dreams, alternate realities, relationships and overcoming life’s hardships.

Brazilian musician Mariana Ponte started learning music at the age of seven. She has played the keyboard and guitar for several bands in her hometown of Brasilia throughout the years, as well as recording her own music at home. In 2013, she attended the Recording Summer Shot at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. After dabbling in soundtracks and game music for a couple of years, Mariana moved to Denver, Colorado in 2015 to study Music Composition and Piano at MSU Denver. In 2017, she released her debut album Goodbye Saturn, which she wrote, recorded and produced in her home studio. After a short break, Mariana released the Love Songs for Ghosts EP in July 2021.
